Let’s do a quick checklist, do you use your videocam? Do you use Skype?
That was easy. Then you need and want these two utilities from Ecamm.
iGlasses 2 gives you total control over your Mac’s Webcam. Adjust and manipulate your webcam’s video settings from within iChat and many other programs, including iMovie, Photo Booth, Yahoo! Messenger, Skype and web-based chat. Apply easy preset settings and fun effects to your video conferences and recordings. Adjust colors, brightness, and even pan and zoom your Mac’s built-in iSight. The picture from your iMac, MacBook or MacBook Pro has never looked so good. Is your external iSight looking a bit dark? You could install studio lighting, or just install iGlasses to give your videos an instant brightness boost. It’s not just for iSight! If you use a Logitech QuickCam or other 3rd-party webcam that uses UVC or the macam driver, iGlasses will add the same great adjustments and features.
Then we have Call Recorder for Skype.
Finally, an easy way to record Skype calls and podcast interviews. Call Recorder is an add-on for Skype which automatically transforms your audio or video calls into QuickTime movies. Call Recorder is great for lessons, interviews or just having fun. The Call Recorder window allows you to start and stop the recording, as well as adjust recording options. Let your imagination run wild. Recorded calls sound even better than regular phone calls and are great for interviews and remote reporting. Calls are recorded with each side of the conversation isolated on a separate sound track for easy editing. Skype makes video conferencing easy and fun. Now you can use Call Recorder to record your video sessions exactly as you see them.
Glen from Ecamm Networks has always been a friend of the MacReviewCast and we’re so happy he’s helped us out with out 4 year anniversary give-away. Listen to the podcast and learn how to win.

To record skype conversations I usually use AudioHijackPro. But it looks much simple the work. I would like to give a try.
iGlass I don’t know. Does it slow down too much the cpu?
