This morning, "Digital" Bill Douthett from the podcast, Wizards of Technology, passed away unexpectedly.

Bill was one of the first podcasters I listened to and respected. He always had time to help with questions or ideas you had and helped to move the podcasting field along to where it is today. His passing will be sadly missed by those of us in podcasting, technology and by those that knew him.

Bill Douthett: Dec 12, 1959 – Oct 4th, 2006.

Hi Tim, I’m Bill’s sister-in-law and I want to thank you for the kinds words and support that have been all over the internet today. It means so much to us to know how much people loved Bill.

There are some preliminary plans in place; as of now, there will be a memorial service on the beach Saturday, October 14. Don’t know the time or which beach but that will be forthcoming.

Again, thanks for your love and prayers,
    Molly
