Veteran broadcaster and former Country Calendar writer and executive Frank Torley has died.
Frank, 75, died peacefully yesterday morning after a short, pointy conflict with cancer, his family said.

His family contend he never wanted to be treated as an invalid.
“He told us he had an illness though was not sick,” a family pronounced in a statement.
“We were unapproachable he found a appetite to pronounce during Country Calendar’s 50th anniversary celebrations in Wellington only days after initial being liberated from a hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
“He desired being partial of Country Calendar. He desired a people of a land and he desired operative on a land.”
